When to reach out?

Our therapy is play-based, child-centred and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Big feelings and emotional regulation

Are you having challenges with meltdowns, or do you feel your child can go from 0-100 in a second? We can help them with understanding their emotions, managing big feelings and learning calming strategies to cope with frustration, worry and change.

Play and social skills

Is your child still practicing their turn taking skills, or are you worried they aren’t building strong friendships? We help children to engage in play, share, problem-solve and build positive relationships with others through meaningful interactions.

Self-care and independence

Do you feel your child is finding it hard to gain independence getting dressed, sleeping or going to the toilet? OT works to support children to become more independent with everyday tasks. We support skills like buttons, zips, using cutlery and managing daily routines.

Gross motor skills

Have you noticed that your child finds their movement skills challenging, or that they fall over or fear participating in sports? Therapy can aid children with developing balance, coordination, strength and body awareness for running, jumping, climbing and playground play.

Fine motor skills

Are you noticing that your child finds it hard to hold their pencil, draw a picture, write their name or keep up with writing demands at school? Through supporting hand strength, coordination and control, we can help children build on their fine motor skills, which are integral for school and play.

Sensory processing

Do you have a child who gets distressed by loud sounds, finds particular fabrics torturous or refuses to let you wash and brush their hair? We help children who experience the world a little differently through their senses. We work with children to manage sensitivities, movement needs and sensory seeking, so their bodies can feel calm, organised and ready to learn.
