Just a big kid, helping little kids take on the world!

Kia ora, I’m Gabby. I’m an Australian-trained paediatric occupational therapist now living in beautiful Wānaka. I have experience supporting children of all ages and abilities, from early intervention through to school-aged therapy. Over the years, I’ve worked across general paediatric occupational therapy, and have developed a strong focus and experience in child development and mental health.

I’m passionate about working closely with families to understand the underlying needs behind a child’s behaviour. My approach is child-led and play-based, creating a foundation of safety, connection, and trust, which allows therapy to be both meaningful and enjoyable. I work with children in ways that fosters confidence, self-esteem, and independence, supporting them to thrive in the environments that matter most to them.

I have experience supporting parents, carers, and teachers, believing that a holistic and full team approach to therapy, is the best way to ensure lasting and meaningful change.

When I’m not working, I love spending as much time in nature as possible, tramping, mountain biking, or climbing. I bring the same sense of curiosity, energy, and love of exploration into my therapy sessions, helping children grow, learn, and feel confident in themselves.
